According to Datuk Rospiagos Taha, director-general of the road transport department (JPJ), all JPJ-related services are planned to be available on the MyJPJ app by 2025. According to Bernama and Sinar Harian, the move is in keeping with the department's goal of digitizing all of its services by 2025.

At the moment, MyJPJ users can only access a few services, such as checking the validity of their driver's license and motor vehicle road tax, individual summons and demerit points, and the most recent car registration numbers.

Users should be able to renew their driving license and vehicle road tax via the app by 2025. "However, it all depends on how well the system built on the MyJPJ application works," Rospiagos added.

"We are currently in an interim phase and in the midst of implementing a pilot project for the renewal of motor vehicle licenses and driver's licences among JPJ staff to assess the level of stability of the system developed through the application," he continued.
